Proportion of psoriasis among the patients with psoriasiform disorders

<p class="abstract"><strong>Background:</strong> Psoriasis is a prevalent chronic inflammatory skin disease with several clinical symptoms. has forms that resemble variety of dermatological disorders and may necessitate histological confirmation the diagnosis. The aim study was to assess proportion psoriasis among patients psoriasiform disorders.</p><p class="abstract"><strong>Methods:</strong> This cross-sectional observational carried out at department dermatology venereology, Shahid Syed Nazrul Islam Medical College, Kishoreganj during period from January 2021 December on 200 enrolled in this study. Detailed history along relevant family drug obtained. All underwent biopsy followed by histopathological examination reveal actual pathology dermal lesions. Statistical analyses results were obtained using window-based computer software devised statistical packages for social sciences (SPSS-25).<strong></strong></p><p class="abstract"><strong>Results:</strong> found 53.5%. majority (72.0%) had extensor surfaces well-demarcated border 166 (83.0%) patients. Subungual hyperkeratosis 30 (28.0%) 16 (17.3%) non-psoriasis groups respectively. Regular epidermal hyperplasia 2 (1.9%) but not non-psoriasis. Spongiosis 45 (42.1%) (32.3%) vertical orientation collagen bundle (2.2%) Perivascular lymphocyte infiltration 75 (70.1%) 63 (67.7%) difference statistically significant (p>0.05) between two groups.</p><p class="abstract"><strong>Conclusions:</strong> features significantly associated who presented except subungual hyperkeratosis. In histopathology, all excluding regular hyperplasia, spongiosis, bundle, perivascular infiltration.</p>
